The main raw materials of straw binding net are high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP). Some products will be added with anti-aging agents or UV components to enhance durability.
Types and characteristics of raw materials
HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)
The most commonly used material has high strength, weather resistance, and UV resistance.
Some manufacturers use new HDPE material containing UV to ensure long-term outdoor use without aging.
PP (polypropylene)
Some products are produced using brand new PP material, which is characterized by its lightweight and chemical corrosion resistance.
It should be noted that inferior products may contain recycled plastics (such as recycled beverage bottles and medical waste), which can affect strength and safety.
Production process
The raw materials are processed into rolls through steps such as particle manufacturing, single strand drawing, and mesh forming.
High quality products need to pass tensile testing (single wire tensile strength 55-60N, whole net ≥ 2500N) and UV resistance verification (with a lifespan of more than 12 months).
